IWU's nursing programs can help you excel as an RN or prepare you for graduate study in Nursing Administration or Nursing Education.
IWU’s online nursing program is designed to allow busy students to update their skills without leaving their current positions, and to give students up-to-date knowledge that is immediately applicable to their careers.
At IWU, you will learn along with a cohort of 12-20 students. Coursework is varied and includes workshops, discussion forums, interactive content, group projects, and more. No specialized technical knowledge is needed; as long as you have a computer and an Internet connection, you can attend Indiana Wesleyan University.

To prepare nurses to meet this demand, IWU offers two Masters Degrees in nursing online: Nursing Administration and Nursing Education. These tracks share a common educational core, and both prepare you to face the challenges inherent in today's healthcare landscape.
Masters Degree in Nursing Administration
The Nursing Administration major is designed for those who wish to fill leadership roles within a wide range of healthcare settings. IWU's online coursework will prepare you to be an effective manager of finances and personnel. It also prepares students to serve as nurse educators in university settings.
The coursework for this degree is varied and challenging. It includes a practicum component, as well as courses in finance, role development and organizational behavior.
Masters Degree in Nursing Education
The Masters Degree in Nursing Education prepares students to be effective educators. It also gives students the foundation for successfully filling educational leadership roles in hospitals, communities, and other areas where they are needed.
The Nursing Education major includes online courses in curriculum design, program evaluation and adult education. Students emerge from the program with practical skills and experience, as well as a solid theoretical foundation in the art and science of effective education.
